ICT - Apple Picture Words

We have been using a programme on the computer called comic life to create picture words.


First we had a picture of an apple


Then we thought of words to describe the apple. 


We stretched the words to the shape of the apple.


Then we deleted the picture and now our words look like an apple. 

Doggy Do's and Don'ts

We have been learning how to act around dogs to keep ourselves safe.

1. If you do not know the dog you need to leave it alone. This can be a dog tied up outside a shop or behind a fence. If you do not know the dog you need to leave it alone to stay safe.

2. If a dog which is running free comes up to you you need to stand still. If you run away the dog will chase you because dogs like to chase things as they will think it is a game.

3. If you own a dog take good care of it. Dogs need lots of love, attention and exercise make sure you look after your dog properly. 

A dog will get bored of you and ignore you if you stand still.

Don't pat a dog on top of its head as they do not like to have their eyes blocked by your hand. 

Pat a dog with your palm facing upwards under its chin and on its chest. 

Dogs need food and fresh water every day.
