We have been studying the French artist Henri Matisse. He liked to paint his pictures with bold colours and black lines. We had to take our time to paint our self portraits carefully painting each separate part, sometimes we even had to use two layers of paint to make the painting look smooth.
What an excellent job Room2! These works of art really look like Henri Matisse masterpieces. I wonder if you learnt anything about the artist too?
